Dont you hate it when....

Its been a long day and I am so ready to get working and doing something other than the gym, nap and gym, eat and bed. Story of my life right now. I was so bored that I was reading this today and I thought it was sort of true. Some not so much but it was fun to read.



Dont you hate it when....
1. Tipping someone who hasn't earned it only because you don't want to look cheap.
2. Late fees for a video you didn't have time to watch.
3. The second-to-last day of a two-week vacation.
4. When your Cracker Jack has melted into one big Jack.
5. Realizing after several attempts that youve been trying to insert a three-prong plus into a two-prong outlet.
6. Banana bruises that arent visible on the outside of the peel
7. People who dont remove their christmas decorations untill March
8. When a homely person compliements you on your looks, forcing you either to return the compliemtn insincerely or say thanks without saying anything more, thereby removing any doubt that you dont find him attractive
9. Accidentally setting your alarm clock for P.M instead of A.M
10. Wondering, based on his answers, if the person youre copying from knows less than you.
11. People who have no clue how loudly they talk
12. Being unable to twist a jar open and unwilling to let someone else give it a try
13. How uncomfortable white people feel when black people call each other "nigga"
14. When your hosts can hear your urine splashing into the toilet because the bathroom has no fan and is adjacent to the dining room.
15. People who keep their clock set 10 minutes fast "incase I need extra time"
16. White guys with a snoop dog cell phone ring
17. Having no clue when to use a semicolon
18. Rearranging heavy furniture, then realizing you liked it better before
19. People who are not your relatives who send photos of their child at three months, six months, nine months...
20. Realizing you were wearing the same outfit the last time you hung out with this person
21. When the teacher erases the entire blackboard but misses one prominent chalk mark
22. Recieving a birthday card 8 days before your birthday

24. When you sign the back of your credit card and it doesnt look like your signature.
25. Bitting your cheek on the swollen area where youve previously bitten it.
26. When the waiter asks "is everything alright here?" right after youve taken a big bite out of your sandwhich, causing you to grunt your response
27. Not liking the gift you pulled out of the grab bag as much as the one you put into it.
28. When you hold the ketchup bottle over your french fries and the first thing that comes out is red water
29. People who are afraid to step on an escalator... missed it...how bout this one...no, not that one...wait, not that one either,... that one ---no, not that one!
30. People who point at their wrists while asking for the time
31. When youre paying for something at a store and they ask you what Zip Code you live in
32. When the driver pushes the unlock button, but you pull the handle at the same moment and remain locked out
33. the momentary frenzy that ensues the instant that a cashier calls out "this register is now open"

Life Vs Journey

I often think of life's problems as speed bumps, things we have to get over in order to enjoy the rest of life's journey. Like every little girls dream I wanted a perfect happy ever after story and ending. Now I've learned the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what is going to happen next. Faith. That is why I am here. I left my salary paying job, fantastic ward and dear friends of mine in Utah. It was a huge leap of faith. I know that it is in the Lord's hands. I took my state exam on Wednesday and got notification of passing on Friday, when they told me if would take up to 30 days. More and more everyday I see the countless blessing the Lord has in store for me with having faith in him. I have never had to rely on someone so much in my life as I have this past month. Knowing that it wouldnt be easy but that it would only be worth it.

First day on the Blog

So a lot of my friends have been requesting that I get a blog. As if they cant just call and find out whats new with me like the old days. I do have a Myspace but dont check it anymore since I believe it has gone to crap. So then I got a facebook. Its all right I guess. And now a Blog... wow can this generation get anymore pathetic?! It's all good. Here we go..

Since I have moved back to Oregon, as of March 1st, its been Spring Month! I retire! Ok so im not really.. I took my Practical Exam on Wednesday. I have NO idea how I did. Its killing me. They examiners just stared at me after every question. NO EXPRESSION. They just read off a piece of paper and stare. What a job! They said it could take up to 30 days to know my results. AHH! Just praying that I passed so I can get to work. A friend told me about working with Nike as a massage therapist. What a dream. Either way there is a lot of oppurtunity here in Oregon. Other than that, I can count on probably two hands how many friends I have here in town. So please if you know someone that wants to hang and not use me for my skills ;) he he let me know!
